The CACRC has been chosen as one of the Charities of Choice for the

                                    6th Annual Fairy House Tour

in and around the beautiful south end district of Portsmouth, NH!

The tour will include Strawberry Banke, Prescott Park, the Govenor John Langdon House and the Wentworth Gardner and Tobias Lear Houses. Tracy Kane will be present to chat with The Fairy Houses fans and sign her books. South New Hampshire Dance Theatre will present excerpts from the new "Fairy Houses Ballet - The Journey." Plus, help build a Fairy House Village in the new enchanted forest at the Govenor Langdon House!

The Child Advocacy Center has been asked to participate in this event by gathering Fairy House building materials and selling tickets before the event (see ticket information below if you are interested in participating in the fun!). We are also looking for volunteers to distribute building materials at the John Langdon House on Saturday, September 18th and Sunday, September 19th from noon until 4 p.m. Click here for more details on the event, for what materials are needed and how to build a fairy house.

Did you know the CACRC now offers Extended Forensic Evaluation? An Extended Forensic Evaluation is appropriate for children where the results of a single interview are inconclusive or where there are serious concerns about the child's ability to participate in a single-session interview. Such children might be the young child, a child with developmental delays or cognitive disabilities, or an extremely traumatized child. Cultural considerations may indicate a need for this type of evaluation, rather than a single-session interview.
