Beards for Bucks

Our Beards for Bucks 2023 was a big success! The top fundraiser for Rockingham County was Deputy Michael Greely of the Rockingham County Sheriff’s Department, raising $15,600. All Rockingham County Law Enforcement participants went above and beyond, raising over $73,000!

Our law enforcement officers in Rockingham County have a lot of fun with Beards for Bucks, some get a “little” competitive about it! Some have gotten so competitive that we give our top fundraiser a WWE Championship Belt and a foursome to play at the Golf Club of New England at our Fore Kids Golf Classic.

Thank you to every officer, even our canine officers, that participated…and thank you for your support!

Beards for Bucks is a fundraiser created in 2015 by the Manchester Police Department in Hillsborough County and has since expanded to include police departments in most counties in New Hampshire. During the month of October, police officers are allowed to grow a beard in order to raise money for their Child Advocacy Center. Beards for Bucks is a simple idea that makes a big difference for CACs in New Hampshire.

All donations benefit the Child Advocacy Center of Rockingham County.
